Meredith Weitz

Meredith Weitz grew up in Minneapolis, Minnesota and received her BA in Biology from Carleton College. After working in an oncology pharmacy for two years, she moved to Chicago and completed a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Rush University. In Omaha, she has maintained a connection to healthcare by serving as a member of the Advisory Board for OneWorld Community Health Centers.

She feels fortunate to stay at home with her three children and enjoys volunteering regularly at their school. She likes to get her hands dirty and learn new skills, both of which she accomplishes as part of an all-women volunteer crew at Habitat for Humanity. Her favorite activity is to be outdoors with her family, whether it be biking, skiing, hiking or simply reading side-by-side in the backyard.
