Entendiendo a quien financiamos
La función principal de la fundación Weitz Family es distribuir recursos fiscales a nuestras organizaciones asociadas. En 2014 creamos un proceso de aplicación anual que permite a organizaciones aplicar a subvenciones formalmente. Adecuamos la aplicación cada año para que corresponda con nuestros valores y prioridades. Nos aseguramos de ofrecer a los postulantes oportunidades para entender mejor nuestro proceso mediante compartir videos, proveer documentos detallando preguntas de la aplicación y albergando sesiones informativas en Zoom.
A través de los primeros 20 años de la historia de la fundación Weitz Family entregamos casi $200,000,000 a las organizaciones listadas a continuación. A pesar de que cada subvención no ha resultado fructífera o alcanzado cada meta, estamos extremadamente orgullosos de nuestros socios y emocionados de ver como subvenciones precoces florecen como programas, se replican en otros lugares y tocan todas nuestras vidas.
